BEST starts AC Bus Service between CSMT and Nariman Point

In a move to cater to the increasing demand of passengers, the Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) has announced the launch of a new air-conditioned bus route numbered ‘A-100’.

Starting from March 17, a new air-conditioned bus route numbered ‘A-100’ started operation between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Free Press House (Nariman Point).

The bus route cover several significant landmarks, including Dr Dadabhai Naoroji Marg, Hutatma Chowk, Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Church Gate), Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Ministry), Free Press Journal Marg, and Free Press House.

According to BEST officials, the first bus from CSMT depart at 8:00 am, while the last bus leave at 8:45 pm.

Similarly, the first bus from Free Press House depart at 8:15 am, and the last bus leave at 9:00 pm. The buses operate from Monday to Saturday, including public holidays.

The new air-conditioned bus service is expected to offer a comfortable and convenient commuting option for people travelling to and from Nariman Point, a prominent business hub in Mumbai.

The route is also likely to benefit tourists and visitors who want to explore the historical landmarks and attractions in South Mumbai.

The announcement of the new bus route has been welcomed by many passengers who have been struggling to find a reliable mode of transport in the area.
