“Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan recently invested a total of Rs 28.7 crore in four 2,099-square-foot offices in Mumbai’s Andheri West. The properties were purchased from Veer Savarkar Projects at the Signature Building off Veera Desai Road,” a news report stated.
According to paperwork discovered by FloorTap, “a marketplace for commercial properties, the legendary actor, whose TV programme “Kaun Banega Crorepati” is now airing, paid stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore for the premises. According to the statement, each property has three parking spaces. On September 1st, the properties were registered”.
Veer Savarkar Projects could not be reached for comment, and Bachchan’s PR company did not respond to an email.
According to papers, “another Bollywood star named Karthik Aryan also purchased an office space from Aishwarya Property & Estate. Aryan spent Rs 10.09 crore and Rs 47.55 lakh in stamp duty to purchase a 2,099-square-foot home. On September 4, the property was officially recorded. For comment, Aryan could not be reached”.
According to a report, “star Sara Ali Khan and her mother Amrita Singh purchased a 2,099-square-foot home from Aishwarya Property & Estate for Rs 9 crore in another register in July. Amrita and Sara were unavailable for comment”.
Recently, a number of performers have purchased offices in the same building.
Ajay Devgn recently paid Rs 45.09 crore for five office flats in the same Signature Building. 13,293 square feet is the overall size of the office units. According to rumours in the media, his wife Kajol spent Rs 7 crore on another office space purchase in the same building.
Bachchan has started buying homes in the suburbs of Mumbai. He purchased a 12,000-square-foot property in Mumbai’s Four Bungalows neighbourhood last year.
In 2021, Bachchan had already purchased a home for Rs 31 crore. Although he purchased the home in 2020, the registration was completed in 2021. He reportedly has a property directly behind his Jalsa home that is valued at more than Rs 50 crore.
The five bungalows Bachchan owns in Mumbai are all part of the Juhu Vile Parle Development Scheme (JVPD). He resides in the Jalsa house in Juhu, and nearby homes in the same Mumbai neighbourhood include Pratheeksha, Janak, Ammu, and Vatsa.

The almost 1,594-square-foot home that Kartik Aryan bought is located on the second floor of the Siddhi Vinayak Building in Presidency Society, where the actor’s family already has an apartment.
According to registration information available on the portal of the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority, the project, which has 28 upper floors and 4 basements, is currently under development and is expected to be completed in June 2025.
