Good News for Navi Mumbai: Digha Railway Station to be Operational Soon

There is some really good news awaiting the passengers of Navi Mumbai. It is anticipated that Digha Railway Station would soon be open to passengers on the Uran Local and Trans Harbour line. It’s probable that construction on the ambitious Central Railway Belapur-Kharkopar-Uran route and Digha railway station would begin within the next ten days.

The opening of Digha Railway Station took place on April 6. For several reasons, it was put on hold. But as of right now, the railway station is open to visitors, and it’s expected to open soon. Residents of Vitawa and Digha will benefit from this station, as the community has been yearning for one for a long time.

Earlier, there was news that the station will be operational by early February but was delayed due to many factors. The initiative will also benefit folks who live within the Digha station’s boundaries but have to go all the way to Thane or Airoli to board a local train.
