JPMorgan Chase Expanding in India with New Offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru

JPMorgan Chase & Co., a well-known American financial services company, has opened two new locations in Mumbai as well as Bengaluru.

More than 50,000 people are employed by JPMorgan Chase in India, as they support the company’s various divisions with fundamental business and technological operations. India’s centres have developed to offer technological solutions, business-related assistance, and functional support to clients worldwide.

The company declared in a statement released on Tuesday that the new 1.12 million square feet of space hub in Bengaluru is situated within the Embassy Tech Village, on the city’s Outer Ring Road. 

Whereas, the company’s Mumbai hub is a 1.16 million square-feet facility that is situated at the 23-acre Nirlon Knowledge Park, known to be one of Mumbai’s biggest financial and technological centres established along the Western Express Highway at Goregaon, north-west of the megapolis.

According to Deepak Mangla, CEO of JPMorgan Chase India’s corporate centre, the two new facilities will provide our employees with cutting-edge technology, adaptable, productive, and welcoming workspaces that are driven by renewable energy and overall well-being.

Currently, it provides firms with the investment banking field, international markets, distributors payments, and holding services. It has already established operations in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Renewable energy Campus and Services

The campuses are entirely powered by energy generated from renewable sources. These workspaces are governed by the zero-waste managing concept, which encourages technological advancement, paperless procedures, material reuse, and separate disposal of trash at the source. 

According to JPMorgan, campuses will include services like all-gender bathroom facilities, a daycare centre, mother’s rooms, meditating areas, and a fully furnished fitness and health centre as part of the general well-being of the staff. Additionally, charging stations for electric vehicles are included in the parking facilities. Services for waste management and conservation of water are also available at the site.

According to the press statement, the campuses’ designs include game areas, elegant conferencing places of work, innovation labs, and workplace coffee shops. The dining spaces offer a variety of food items and outdoor sitting. With locations in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, the company offers investment banking, services for global markets, wholesale purchases, and custody throughout India.
