Commuting in Mumbai has become much easier and more convenient with the introduction of the Mumbai Metro.

The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) is responsible for the smooth functioning of Metro Lines 2A and 7.

To make commuting easier and more affordable for passengers, the MMMOCL has recently introduced a monthly trip pass.

This pass offers a discount of 15% on 45 trips and 20% on 60 trips, exclusively available to those who frequently travel in the metro and use the Mumbai 1 card.

The MMMOCL has also introduced an unlimited trip pass for tourists visiting Mumbai or on a day trip to multiple destinations.

This pass is available for one day at a charge of Rs 80 and for three days at Rs 200.

The tourist passes are modeled after the Indian Railway Mumbai suburban corridor, making it convenient for visitors to explore multiple destinations in Mumbai.

If you’re a Mumbai Metro commuter who wants to take advantage of the discounted monthly pass, you’ll need to have a Mumbai 1 National Common Mobility Card.

Fortunately, getting one is easy – you can issue and recharge it at the Mumbai Metro ticketing and customer care counter with simple documentation.

Additionally, the card can be used to make purchases at retail stores and to pay for travel on BEST buses, making it a versatile and convenient option for commuters.

It can even be used as a debit card, making it a convenient and versatile option for commuters.

The trip passes are valid for one single journey, with the origin and destination fixed. However, commuters can travel to the stations in between as well.

In case of damage or malfunction of the card, a replacement fee of Rs 100 will be charged. The card is not refundable or replaceable if lost.
