PMC Commissioner Ganesh Deshmukh and Deputy Commissioner Kailas Gawde have given their approval for the development of an iconic amusement park, making it the first of its kind under the corporation’s jurisdiction.

The upcoming amusement park in Kharghar promises to be a haven of fun and excitement. Visitors will have the opportunity to embark on a delightful toy train ride, showcasing the rich heritage of the Panvel area. This educational and entertaining experience will captivate both children and adults, offering a glimpse into the local history and culture.

Moreover, the park will offer a wide range of entertainment facilities to keep everyone engaged and enthralled. From thrilling rides to engaging games, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Families and friends can also look forward to spending quality time together at the park, as it will provide a spacious picnic area for relaxation and leisure activities.

The Panvel Municipal Corporation aims to make the amusement park accessible to all members of the community. This ensures that individuals from all walks of life can afford to visit and experience the wonders of the park without financial constraints.

Recognizing the importance of an active lifestyle, the park’s design will include facilities for sports and fitness enthusiasts. Dedicated pathways will encourage morning walks amidst the park’s lush green surroundings, offering a refreshing and invigorating experience. Additionally, an open field will be available for volleyball enthusiasts to enjoy friendly matches and foster a spirit of sportsmanship.

The development of the amusement park in Kharghar is estimated to cost approximately Rs 6 crore. This substantial investment by the Panvel Municipal Corporation demonstrates their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors. The success of this project is a testament to the tireless efforts of individuals like Mangesh Ranwade, Imtiaz Shaikh, Girish Diwekar, Jyoti Nadkarni, Shri Chandraprakash, Major Nair, Saifullah Khan, and many others who actively supported and advocated for this remarkable initiative.
