In a letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendraji Fadnavis on June 24, 2023, the All-Party Action Committee delegation, led by Dashrath Patil and Santosh Kene, pleaded with them to send the proposal to the federal government without delay in light of the passionate feelings of the Bumiputras (sons of the soil) in the state.

They anticipate that the state government will send a proposal as soon as possible, as stated by Dashrath Bhagat, or else they would hit the road once more. If there is any additional delay, a protest march would be held from Azad Maidan to Mantralaya, according to Bhagat.
