PM Modi to Visit Mumbai on Jan 15, will inaugurate Kharghar Iskcon temple and commission 3 naval vessels

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Maharashtra on January 15 to attend two important events. In the morning, he will be commissioning three advanced naval warplanes at a naval dockyard in the Mumbai.

In the morning, he will be commissioning three advanced naval warplanes at a naval dockyard in the Mumbai. And then later in the afternoon he will inaugurate the ISKCON temple at Kharghar that is in Navi Mumbai.

Around 10:30 AM, PM Modi will hand over three maritime power plants to the country: INS Surat, INS Nilgiri as well as INS Waghshir. These changes are being seen as an important step in strengthening India’s defense capabilities. And to also achieve self-reliance in naval technology.

INS Surat is a part of P15B guided missile destroyer program and INS Surat is considered one of the largest and most modern destroyers in the world. It is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons systems and is known to be 75% indigenous.

The INS Nilgiri which is the first ship of the P17A stealth warship program. Designed by the Indian Navy’s Warship Building Bureau. It also represents the future of naval frigates in India.

Under the P75 Scorpene project, INS Vaghsheer is then the final ship in this series that is built in collaboration with the French Naval Group. These naval assets shows and reflects India’s vision of becoming an actual global leader in the maritime security.

Later expected at around 3:30 p.m., the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will then go to inaugurate the Sri Sri Radhamadan Mohanji Temple in Navi Mumbai. The ISKCON project is spread over 9 acres with a beautifully designed and religious temple. This temple spreads and helps to promote peace along with universal brotherhood and harmony through the propagation of Vedic teachings.
