Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 enters the 400-crore club at the Box Office

Gadar 2 Surpasses Baahubali 2's Lifetime Earnings, Nears 500 Crore Mark in Record Time

Directed by Anil Sharma, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 entered the Rs. 400 crore club on the second Tuesday after its release. The film entered the club when, on Tuesday, there was a total collection of Rs. 11.50 crore, with the total box office collection being Rs. 400.10 crore. Although the director saw a slight dip in earnings on 22nd August.

Gadar 2 reportedly made 11.50 crore net in India on its 12th day with 24.93% of occupancy. In its first week of release, the movie collected 284.63 crore. On its second Friday, second Saturday, second Sunday, and second Monday, the movie brought in 20.5 crores, 31.07 crores, 38.9 crores, and 13.50 crores, respectively.

Gadar 2 is a follow-up to the 2001 movie “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” which was set around the partition of India in 1947.To liberate his son, Utkarsh Sharma, who is being kept captive in Pakistan, Tara Singh is depicted in this film as risking his life by crossing the border. The action-packed scenes from the first “Gadar” film are brilliantly continued in the sequel, which is set in Lahore in 1971 and emphasizes Tara Singh’s unending wrath against those who promote hatred between India and Pakistan.

Being said, Boota Singh, who used to serve in the British army, reportedly served as a loose impact for the film. His relationship with Zainab, a Muslim girl he saved from riots during the partition, was well known. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starred in the movie, along with Amrish Puri and Lillete Dubey.
