To facilitate the necessary shifting and modification of the overhead line, a Traffic cum Power Block will be implemented between Umroli and Boisar stations from May 18 to May 21, 2023. This means that for a specific duration, certain sections of the railway tracks will be temporarily closed for regular train operations. In addition, on May 21, 2023, another block will be carried out to allow for the launching of the composite girder of Road over Bridge No. 129 A at Palghar Station.
During these block periods, some trains operated by the Western Railway (WR) will be affected and experience changes to their schedules. These changes include train regulations, short termination, or partial cancellation.
The details of the affected trains are provided based on the information shared in a press release by Sumit Thakur, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Western Railway.
