On September 1, Vistara Airlines, a joint venture between Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) and Tata Sons Private Limited, will begin operating an additional daily route between the state capital and Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd. (TIAL) announced on Thursday.
According to a release from TIAL, the new flight service would leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8.30 AM and arrive in Mumbai around 10.45 AM.
According to the statement, the flight would depart from Shanghumugham’s domestic terminal (T1).
“The flight’s favourable timing offers connections to/from sevral domestic points as well as to/from international locations, including Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. According to the statement, this will be the seventh daily service between Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai.
It stated that the returning aircraft would depart Mumbai at 8:25 p.m. and arrive there at 11 p.m.
It was earlier said about the flight service that, according to an announcement from the Thiruvananthapuram airport, “Vistara Airlines will begin a new regular flight connection to Mumbai from the Thiruvananthapuram International airport on June 1. Vistara’s first offering in this market is this service. Bookings for tickets have begun”.
“At 9:30 am, the flight (UK 551) will leave Mumbai and arrive in Thiruvananthapuram at noon. Returning passengers can board aircraft UK 552, which departs Thiruvananthapuram at 12.35 p.m. and arrives in Mumbai at 2.55 p.m. The service will be run out of Shanghumughom’s domestic terminal”. According to the statement, there will be 164 seat total on the aircraft, divided among business, premium economy, and economy classes”.
