The Mumbai Central Division of WR achieved its highest commercial revenue ever during the current fiscal year 2022-23, marking a first in the division’s history.
The division crossed the achievement of Rs 3500 Cr in business income and is resolved to arrive at a general income of Rs 3660 Cr toward this monetary year’s end.
Western Railway General Manager Ashok Kumar Misra commended the group for reaching this milestone.
Sumit Thakur, WR’s chief spokesperson, stated: In May 2022, the Mumbai division earned the most money per month in ticket checking of any Indian Railways division.
In keeping with this trend, the reserved ticketing segment saw the division’s highest earnings ever.”
