Aurangabad and Osmanabad name change officially confirmed by Govt

The Maharashtra government has recently declared that Aurangabad and Osmanabad will be given new names. Aurangabad will now be called ‘Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar’, and Osmanabad will be called ‘Dharashiv’. Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, posted on his Twitter account that he has received the official letter of approval from the Government of India.
